I enjoyed reading/studying this book and can only highly recommend it for people who have a strong interest in archeology.
고고학의 역사와 기초, 인류와 문화의 기원, 현생 인류의 출현과 확산, 농업의 기원을 다룬 책. 기본적으로 진화론적 관점에서 서술되었으며 고고학이 문화인류학, 체질인류학, 언어학과 함께 인류학의 한 분과로 되어 있는 미국 인류학계의 연구 방향을 잘 보여주고 있다.
